Phase III – Program Sustainability
—Infrastructure builds out with market demand (15-25 CNG stations and 3 LNG stations)
—NGV’s growth is consumer oriented, count exceeds 10,000 vehicles
Weld County received federal funding in each of the three transportation planning regions shown below. This funding has provided the opportunity for Weld County to facilitate the construction of five natural gas fueling sites.
Site #1 (green area on map) is anticipated to be completed in April 2012.
Site #2 (purple area on map) is anticipated to be completed in June 2012.
Site #3 (blue area on map) is anticipated to be completed in April 2012.
Site #4 (blue area on map) bids are due December 30th.
The Weld County Fuel Site upgrade is anticipated to be completed in March of 2012.
Weld County is also working with the Private Sector on a School District Pilot Project to be announced the first quarter of 2012.
